The proposal for a law went through the house of commons - but was today sent back from the house of lords with some pretty good amendments - that tries to excempt consensual BDSM. Problem is, the government in the UK wants to target exactly that, consensual BDSM, as they consider watching it harmful regardless of whether everyone involved enjoyed it or not - so the amendments are not likely to stand unchallenged.

This is why it is about the last chance for everyone to and make an effort to stop this madness - send letters or mails to MPs, lords and whoever else has a voice, and explain why this is a direct attack on the freedoms of speech and sexuality.

There are good old fashioned liberal lords and MPs already fighting this law - and the more support their cause have, the better the chances they can actually change the law to something less devastating to the BDSM community.
